Zero deaths and zero intubated cases for several days

The epidemiological situation in Morocco is comforting. For several days now, the Kingdom has not recorded any deaths due to Covid-19 or intubated cases. The fatality rate therefore remains stable at 1.38%, as does the total number of deaths since the pandemic, which is 16,061.

In its epidemiological report of this Wednesday, April 13, the Ministry of Health reports 18 severe cases admitted to intensive care, including a new case admitted in the last 24 hours, and 6 other cases under artificial respiration. The occupancy rate of resuscitation beds dedicated to Covid-19 therefore stands at 0.3%.

In 24 hours, Morocco carried out 6,609 tests, bringing the national total of tests carried out since the start of the pandemic to 11,354,590. Morocco has also recorded 69 recoveries, bringing the national total since the start of the pandemic to 1,147,424 remissions. The recovery rate stood at 98.56% this Wednesday, while the total number of active cases stood at 704 cases (0.06%).
