With this victory, the WAC takes the lead in group A with 13 points on the clock ahead of its opponent of the day (10 pts). Angolan club Petro Atletico is 3rd (7 pts), while Congolese AS Vita Club are in 4th place (4 pts).
The goals for the Reds were scored by Bouly Sambou 38′ and 51′ and Zouhair El Moutaradji (87′).
Both clubs have already qualified for the quarter-finals of this competition.
The other representative of Moroccan football in this competition, Raja Casablanca, also qualified for the next round, beat Tanzanian club Simba SC on Friday at home with a score of 3 goals to 1.
