Returned to England after a burglary in his house in south London, the English striker Raheem Sterling, will join the English selection in Qatar on Friday, on the eve of the quarter-final against France.
The English federation (FA), which announced the return of Sterling, recalled that the 27-year-old had left the group on Sunday, before the round of 16 won against Senegal (3-0).
According to the English press, the Chelsea striker’s family was present when armed men broke into his home in Surrey.
Note that Sterling has been selected 81 times with 20 goals and 27 assists.
