The Senegalese women’s football team won against its counterpart from Burkina Faso with the score of 1 goal to 0, Tuesday evening at the Prince Moulay Abdellah sports complex in Rabat, in a match counting for the 2nd day (Group A) of the African Cup of Nations (CAN) women’s football (Morocco-2022).
The only goal of the game was scored by Korka Fall who converted a penalty in the 84th minute.
Senegal took the best of Uganda by 2 goals to 0 in the match counting for the first day of the group.
After this victory, Senegal occupies the first place of this pool with 6 points, followed by Morocco (3 pts), Uganda and Burkina Faso (0 pt).
The national team will meet Uganda this Tuesday evening before challenging Senegal during the 3rd day (July 8).
