The General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM) announced heavy thunderstorms of orange vigilance level (25 to 35mm), expected Thursday and Friday in several provinces of the Kingdom.
In a special weather report, the DGM specifies that these thunderstorms will affect, Thursday from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m., the provinces of Al Hoceima, Chefchaouen, Ifrane, Khénifra, Sefrou, Taounate, Taza and Fez.
The provinces of Al Hoceima, Béni Mellal, Boulemane, Midelt, Ifrane, Khénifra, Sefrou, Taounate and Taza will be affected by the same phenomenon Friday from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m., adds the same source.
These thunderstorms will be accompanied locally by hailstorms and gusts of wind under thunderstorms, informed the DGM, noting that moderate thunderstorms (15 to 20mm) will interest this afternoon and night the provinces of Khouribga, El Hajeb and Tetouan.
In addition, notes the bulletin again, gusts of fairly strong winds (60 to 70km / h) are expected this day in the Tangérois region.
