The coach of the Atlas Lions, Walid Regragui, ranked third in the ranking of the best coaches in the world in the year 2022, after leading the Moroccan team to achieve a historic feat, occupying the fourth Qatar 2022 World Cup spot.
The International Federation of Football History & Statistics (IFFHS) has chosen Walid Regragui as the world’s third-best coach in 2022 with a total of 30 points, after his shares increased with the great feat achieved with the Moroccan national team during the recent World Cup.
Regragui also led Wydad Sports Club to the throne of the African continent by winning the African Champions League title, before overseeing the national first team’s technical crossbar.
Meanwhile, Argentina’s Lionel Scaloni ranked first as the best coach in the world over the past year, with a total of 240 points. Frenchman Didier Deschamps came second with a total of 45 points, and it was he who held the final “World Cup” title with the French “roosters”.
Zlatko Dalic, coach of the Croatian national team, third in the World Cup, came fourth in the list of the best coaches in the world. While the Japanese national team coach ranked fifth. Dutch national team coach Louis van Gaal came sixth.
Note that Frenchman Hervé Renard, coach of the Saudi Arabian national team, ranked eighth in the standings.
