Visiting the Oriental, Mehdi Bensaid signs an agreement of 500 million dirhams

During the first leg of his visit to the Oriental region, the Minister of Youth, Culture and Communication, Mohamed Mehdi Bensaïd, visited a number of projects in the province of Oujda-Angad.

At first, the Minister of Culture visited the training center affiliated with the youth sector, which oversees the training of a number of women from the city of Oujda in various fields.

Subsequently, Mehdi Bensaid made another inspection visit to the Mohammed VI Theater in Oujda, which is one of the largest theaters in the Kingdom, and which is preparing to receive theatrical and artistic performances. The theater will also be equipped to make it a cinema hall, according to a press release from the Ministry of Culture.

The Minister of Youth, Culture and Communication also visited the Omar Ibn Abdelaziz school in Oujda, which is one of the oldest Moroccan schools, and which has trained great national personalities, in particular the philosopher Moroccan Mohamed Abed Al-Jabri, before continuing his visit to the Dar El Sebti Museum and the Digital Cartoon agency specializing in digital art.

At the headquarters of the Oriental Region Council, Minister Mehdi Bensaid signed a partnership agreement with the President of the Oriental Region Council, Abdenabi Baawi, the Wali of the region, Moad Jamii, and the director General of the Oriental Region Development Agency, aimed at supporting the areas of culture and youth in the region.

Thus, the agreement signed aims to build projects related to youth and culture in the provinces of the region, particularly in rural areas, for a budget envelope with an overall financial value of 500 million dirhams.

Note that the tour of the Minister of Culture Mehdi Bensaïd in the Oriental region will continue during the next three days, with a visit to the provinces of Figuig, Jerada, Taourirt and Berkane.
