The jury of the 2021 edition of the Visa For Music festival scheduled for November 17 to 20, has unveiled its composition.
The members of the jury will be responsible for studying more than 500 applications received as part of the call for applications launched by the organizing team in March and April.
a press release from the organizers indicates that the members were selected for “their unique professional experiences and their unparalleled knowledge of the music industry, each of them representing a geographic space that the Visa For Music Festival and Market promotes, Africa in the Middle East via the Maghreb ”.
At the end of their reflection, the members of the jury will propose a selection of around thirty artists, who will have the chance to perform during the eighth edition of Visa For Music, which will be offered in a unique and unique hybrid format. The jury is composed of Josiane Maténé from Gabon (Francophone Africa), Furat Qaddouri from Iraq (Middle East), Yousef J. Kamal (Morocco), Ramzi Jebabli from Tunisia (Maghreb) and Eddie Hatitye from Africa South (Anglophone Africa).
