Buckingham Palace announced this Friday morning, the death at 99 years of Prince Philip, husband of the Queen of England Elizabeth II.
In a statement on its website, Buckingham said that “it is with deep sadness that Her Majesty The Queen announces the passing of her beloved husband, His Royal Highness Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh”.
And to specify that “His Royal Highness passed away peacefully this morning at Windsor Castle”.
Hospitalized nearly a month for a pre-existing pathology, Prince Philip left the hospital on March 15, after surgery.
