European football’s governing body, UEFA, has announced that a moment of silence will be held at all upcoming national team and club competition matches as of tomorrow and until 21 September, in memory of the victims of the tragic earthquake in Morocco.
The earthquake, which measured 7.0 on the Richter scale, left thousands of killed and injured and affected more than 300,000 in Marrakech and surrounding areas.
