Tonight’s Morocco-Liberia game cancelled following earthquake

Following the earthquake that struck some areas in Morocco, the Royal Moroccan Football Federation announced it is postponing the Moroccan national football team’s match scheduled to take place on Saturday evening, September 9, 2023, between the against Liberia, in the final round of qualifiers for the finals of the African Cup of Nations – Côte d’Ivoire 2024.

The game is postponed until a later time, in agreement with the Confederation of African Football.

After this great tragedy, the national football family extends its deepest condolences to the families of the victims, and wishes a speedy recovery to all those injured.
