The Moroccan under-23 team won the African Cup of Nations in the category, thanks to a victory in the final on Saturday against their Egyptian counterpart (2-1).
At the end of this competition, which took place between Tangier and Rabat, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) unveiled the typical team of the tournament. Three Atlas lion cubs are featured.
They are right-back Zakaria Ouahidi, attacking midfielder Ismael Saibari and winger Abdessamad Ezzalzouli.
The finalists (Egypt) won four places: goalkeeper Hamza Alaa and players Hossam Abdelmeguid, Ibrahim Adel and Ossama Faisal.
Malians are the most represented with 4 days: Ibrahima Cissé, Seydouba Sisse, Fode Doucoure and Mamadou Sangare.

Note that the first 3, namely Morocco, Egypt and Mali won their ticket for the Paris 2024 Olympics, while Guinea will have to compete in an intercontinental play-off to be able to hope to join them.
