The quarter-final game of the Throne Cup between Wydad and Raja Casablanca will take place Thursday at 6:00 p.m. at the Larbi Zaouli stadium without an audience, announced the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF).
“Following the effects of the fireworks on the sides of the lawn of the Mohammed V Sports Complex in Casablanca, during the last match between Wydad Casablanca and FUS Rabat and the celebrations which led a large number of people to to access the field, thus damaging the lawn and certain equipment of the African Women’s Football Cup, some matches of which take place in the same stadium, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) refused to organize the quarter-final match of Throne Cup final between Wydad and Raja Casablanca at the Mohammed V Sports Complex »explained the federal body in a press release published on its website.
Following this decision, the Royal Moroccan Football Federation informs the two clubs that this match will take place Thursday at 6:00 p.m. at the Larbi Zaouli stadium, said the same source.
Regarding tickets to attend this match, the company in charge of this operation will later publish a press release in this regard.
