The World Bank approved, on Friday, a loan to Morocco of 250 million dollars for an economic development project in the northeast of the country, more precisely in Nador.
The loan concerns the development of the Nador West Med port complex, and the improvement of connectivity with transport networks in order to allow the growth of the private sector.
In a press release, the World Bank said the North East region of Morocco faces great development challenges, adding that it is also rich in development opportunities.
