Mohammed V University of Rabat (UM5) has distinguished itself for the third consecutive year in the 2023 ranking of the Center for World University Banking (CWUR), where it occupies first place nationally and in the Maghreb.
In this ranking which highlights the 2,000 best universities out of a total of 20,531 in the world, UM5 occupies the 950th place on the planetary level to earn a place in the top of the 4.9% best universities in the world.
Quoted in a press release, the acting president of the Mohammed V University of Rabat, Farid El Bacha, warmly and proudly congratulated the teaching and professional staff for the results obtained.
On this occasion, he “welcomed the efforts made by teacher-researchers, administrative and technical staff and students, particularly in the field of research and innovation”.
This international ranking is based on four key indicators, namely the quality of research (40%), the quality of training (25%), the winners occupying important positions in large companies (25%) and the teaching staff. having obtained international academic distinctions (10%).
The data used come from the international scientific database “Web of Science” for publications, citations and the quality of journals over the last 10 years.
