The Sultanate of Oman commended the constant efforts made by King Mohammed VI, chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, to defend the holy city and its inhabitants.
The Sultanate of Oman also expressed its support for the territorial integrity of the Kingdom of Morocco and the autonomy initiative as a basis for a solution to the regional dispute over the Moroccan Sahara, according to the joint statement that sanctioned the 6th session of the joint Moroccan-Omani commission.
Morocco and the Sultanate of Oman have also expressed their determination to strengthen their cooperation in the political, economic, commercial, industrial, judicial and development fields, which is likely to open up new prospects for the two country.
It should be noted that the work of the 6th session of the Joint Commission between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Sultanate of Oman opened on Tuesday in Rabat, under the chairmanship of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans in foreigner, Nasser Bourita, and the Omani Minister of Foreign Affairs, Badr bin Hamad bin Hamoud Al Busaidi.
