Coastguards of the Royal Navy, on a maritime patrol operation in the Mediterranean and the Atlantic, provided assistance, between May 30 and June 06, 2022, to 385 candidates for irregular migration, mainly from sub-Saharan Africa, including women and minors, we learned from a military source.
The rescued candidates, who had taken to the sea aboard makeshift nautical means, received first aid on board Royal Navy units, before being transported to the nearest ports of the Kingdom, for the procedures of uses, we said from the same source.
