A large delegation of private economic operators and public institutions from the Democratic Republic of Congo was received yesterday, Tuesday, February 28, at the headquarters of ASMEX by its president, accompanied by some members of the Executive Board and exporters members of the Association.
In a press release, ASMEX indicates that the mission of the Congolese delegation, led by the National Agency for the Promotion of Investments (ANAPI) represents the sectors of agro-industry, health, mining, trade, renewable energies and others.
Thus, the Democratic Republic of Congo wishes through its mission in Morocco to promote public and private investment projects in order to create more added value in the country, underlines the Association. For this, a multitude of advantages and incentives are offered to sustainable investments for the exploitation of the enormous potential available to the country in several areas not yet exploited, specifies the same source.
In this regard, the two parties insisted on monitoring trade balances between the two countries in order to establish a long-term partnership and contribute on both sides to developing bilateral trade as well as with others.
Ultimately, ASMEX indicates that it was proposed in this context to create a Business Club within the Association to identify all the possibilities and partnership projects between the two countries. Moreover, a series of BtoB meetings were organized between the members of ASMEX present at the meeting and the Congolese delegation to launch discussions on future partnerships to be developed, concluded the association.
