The Presidency of the Public Ministry of Morocco is participating in the 28th edition of the International Publishing and Book Fair (SIEL), organized from June 01 to 11, 2023 in Rabat.
The participation of the presidency of the Public Ministry in this cultural event, initiated under the slogan “A citizen public ministry”, is the third of its kind, specifies a press release from the institution.
And to underline that “in view of the importance of this event, the Presidency of the Public Ministry has prepared for visitors to its pavilion, within the framework of SIEL, a diversified program intended to inform citizens of the roles, missions and attributions of the Presidency”.
Visitors to the pavilion of the Presidency of the Public Prosecutor’s Office will also have an appointment with round tables and debates around topical subjects such as the role of the Public Prosecutor’s Office in establishing a fair trial, highlighting the contribution of this institution in achieving the reasonable time and the role of the Code of Judicial Ethics in strengthening judicial security, according to the same source.
The pavilion of the Presidency of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, the press release continues, will see debates on subjects such as “the role of the Public Prosecutor’s Office in the fight against financial crimes and money laundering, alternative sentences and preventive detention, identification indicators of victims of human trafficking, sexual harassment in public places, as well as the role of the Presidency of the Public Prosecutor’s Office in the implementation of the official character of Amazigh”.
Visitors to the SIEL will also be able to be informed of the main services provided by the public prosecutor’s office, its role in the protection of rights and freedoms, as well as the issues raised by current events.
The Presidency of the Public Ministry will exhibit, in its pavilion, more than 200 publications by its magistrates at the level of the various courts of the Kingdom, annual reports and practical guides published by the Public Ministry, as well as an important documentary fund of historical significance. which traces its action.
