The correctional court of Ain Sebai in Casablanca, condemned, this Thursday, the owner and head of the channel “bila houdoud”, prosecuted in several cases related to defamation and slander, insult to organized bodies, to 18 months in prison.
The same court sentenced the second accused in this case to one year in prison, and ordered the seizure of all the material and the closure of the channel which broadcasts on Youtube, in addition to the publication of the text of the verdict in a paper newspaper and a other electronics.
The two defendants were also ordered to pay jointly, the sum of 400,000 dh of damage to the plaintiff, the President of the Bar Abdellatif Bouachrine, 100,000 dh to the plaintiff Mohamed Harouak and 180,000 to the plaintiff Samira Daoudi.

He had denounced these practices “criminal, punishable by sanctions having no connection with professional and responsible journalism”, the magistrates had expressed their “total and unconditional support to the members of the club, victims of these defamatory acts to terrorize them and prevent them. to perform their constitutional functions and guarantee the rule of law ”.
The club also called “for the firm application of the law against those responsible for this channel who are in the service of certain agendas, and only seek the buzz through defamatory content and think that the fact of hiding their identities will allow them to avoid prosecution ”.
