The Moroccan national cycling team won, on Sunday in Tipaza (Algeria), the gold medal in the team time trial of the 15th edition of the Arab Sports Games.
The Moroccans completed the 58.5 km closed circuit in 1h 17m 59s, i.e. an average speed of 45.23 km/h, ahead of the Algerian (1h 20m 8s) and Emirati (1h 28m 9s) teams, while the Saudi team finished fourth (1h 30m 46s).
The Moroccan national team, which won the precious metal of the time trial, was made up of riders Achraf Ed-Doghmi, ranked fourth on the African level (Africa Tour), Mohcine El Kouraji, recent winner of the Tour du Cameroun , Adil El Arbaoui, reigning Moroccan champion in the individual time trial and Oussama Khafi.
