The Moroccan women’s football team has been exempted from the first round of the qualifying tournament for the Olympic Games (Paris-2024), announced the African Confederation of the discipline (CAF).
“Morocco, Zambia, Tunisia, Cameroon, Nigeria, Botswana and South Africa were exempted from this first stage, thanks to their ranking at the last women’s CAN contested in 2022 in Morocco”, underlines the CAF. In the 2nd round, Morocco will meet the winner of the duel Namibia / Equatorial Guinea, we continue.
The 1st round matches will be played from July 10 to 18, 2023. The second leg will take place from October 23 to 31, 2023, while the third round is scheduled for February 19 to 28, 2024.
