The Mohammed V National Theater has decided to suspend all its activities in the face of the increase in cases of infection with the new coronavirus, and in accordance with the decisions of the government.
“Given the increase in cases of contamination with the virus and in accordance with the decisions taken Monday, August 2 by the government, the institution of the Mohammed V theater has decided to suspend all its activities,” she said in a statement published on his site.
This suspension, it is specified, will last “until the improvement of the epidemiological situation and the return to normal life”.
The government had taken a series of measures from Tuesday, August 03, on the basis of the recommendations of the Scientific and Technical Commission concerning the need to strengthen preventive measures to limit the spread of the pandemic and preserve the health of citizens.
These include the ban on night travel nationwide from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., and the ban on travel to and from the cities of Casablanca, Marrakech and Agadir.
