On the occasion of the World Day against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia, celebrated on Monday, May 17, the Mobile Film Festival expresses its support through a selection of short films addressing with creativity and inventiveness different LGBTQ + themes.
Created in 2005, the Mobile Film Festival has often addressed issues of discrimination through the films selected for the competition. To highlight the World Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia, the MFF chose 13 films among all those that dealt with these themes.
“Some of the films we are showing you today directly address discrimination, stigmatization and often the violence they generate against LGBTQ + people. We also wanted to highlight films that highlight love, courage and the freedom to be yourself ”, explains the organization in a press release.
These 13 films come from 9 countries, and all benefit from minimum subtitles in French, English, Spanish, and sometimes Italian, Arabic and Portuguese. The films are present on the main social networks Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and Instagram, you will find below the links of each film on each network.
“All the films are free of rights within the framework of the Mobile Film Festival for screenings, to illustrate your papers, your website and your social networks on the occasion of this world day but also throughout the year when the the fight must continue against homophobia, transphobia and biphobia ”, specifies the Mobile which affirms to support with pride the daily fight of associations and NGOs to defend the rights of all people, whatever their gender identity and sexual orientation.
