The leader of the People’s Party (PP) Alberto Núñez Feijóo, who came out on top in the legislative elections in Spain on Sunday, claimed victory and said he wanted to try to “form a government”.
“As the candidate of the party with the most votes, I believe it is my duty” to try to “form a government”, declared, in front of the PP headquarters in Madrid, Feijóo who does not however have an absolute majority of seats in Parliament, even with his only potential ally, the extreme right of Vox.
