The Minister of State, Minister of Defense of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire, Téné Birahima Ouattara, on a working visit to the Kingdom from July 14 to 17, was received on Friday in Rabat by the Minister Delegate to the Chief of the Government, in charge of the National Defense Administration, Abdeltif Loudyi.
A press release from the FAR General Staff specifies that during this meeting, held in execution of high royal instructions, the two parties reviewed various issues in the military field aimed at promoting relations between Morocco and the Coast. d’Ivoire and consolidate the ties of friendship and military cooperation between the two countries.
The two ministers, on this occasion, expressed their satisfaction with the level reached by bilateral cooperation relations in the military field, particularly through the various training activities and the exchange of experiences and expertise.
The Ivorian Minister of State, added the press release, in this sense welcomed the relevance of the multidimensional strategy under the leadership of the King to face the security challenges of the region favoring south-south cooperation and the launch of projects of regional integration and progressive construction of health security on the African continent.
On the same day, underlines the press release of the FAR General Staff, and on high instructions from the King, Supreme Chief and Chief of General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces, the Lieutenant General, Inspector General of the FAR , Abdelfattah Louarak, received the Ivorian Minister of State and the accompanying delegation.
The talks between the two parties focused on the record of bilateral military cooperation, a cooperation, the statement noted, which includes the exchange of information visits and participation in various training and training courses.
