A Council of Government will be held on Wednesday under the chairmanship of the Head of Government, Aziz Akhannouch, with the preparation of the draft Finance Law for the 2023 financial year on the menu.
A press release from the head of government’s department specifies that at the start of its work, the council will examine a presentation by the Minister of Economy and Finance on the implementation of the 2022 Finance Law, and the budgetary programming for the three years 2023-2025.
Two draft decrees are also on the Council’s table. The first relates to the extension of the period of validity of the state of health emergency throughout the national territory, as part of the efforts made to deal with the Covid-19 pandemic, while the second relates to the implementation of the law establishing the National Agricultural Register, adds the same source.
The Council will also examine proposals for appointment to high office, in accordance with the provisions of Article 92 of the Constitution, before closing its work with a meeting devoted to the examination of legislative proposals.
