The French embassy in Morocco denied, on Wednesday, any obstacle to the granting of visas to Moroccan imams who requested them during the month of Ramadan.
In a statement, the embassy explained that “all the Moroccan imams who requested a visa, within the framework of the celebrations of the month of Ramadan, obtained it”.
The movements of Moroccan imams to France during the month of Ramadan have been the subject of close consultation between France and Morocco for many years, the diplomatic representation insisted.
