The former player of the Moroccan national team and the Chabab de Mohammedia team, Hassan Amcharrat, nicknamed “Acila”, died on Saturday evening, after a long battle with illness.
MoroccoLatestNews learned from sources close to the family of the deceased that Acila died on Saturday evening in Mohammedia at the age of 75, a few hours after leaving the hospital, in which he was staying, following the deterioration of his state of health.
Acila played for the Atlas Lions 39 times for 18 goals between 1971 and 1979, notably winning the African Cup of Nations in 1976.
