The Department of Culture of Sharjah announced the launch of the activities of the “Charjah Cultural Honor Forum” in Morocco on April 4th.
The forum will begin in Morocco by paying tribute to the writer Hassnaa Daoud for “her initiatives and as a researcher and curator of the Daoudia library, and of the modern and contemporary history of the city of Tetouan, in particular, and of the ‘history of Morocco, in general,’ said the head of the Department, Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Owais.
Initiated by Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, member of the Supreme Council of the United Arab Emirates and Emir of Sharjah, this forum aims to honor the personalities who have contributed to the promotion of contemporary Arab culture, underlined Al Owais. .
The “Charjah Cultural Honor Forum” represents “a continuation of the cultural efforts of the Emirate of Sharjah, which has won several cultural titles, including the capital of Arab culture, the capital of Islamic culture and the world book capital”, he added.
