The DGI recalls the extension until December 31 of the benefits

The Directorate General of Taxes (DGI) recalls the extension of benefits in favor of newly identified taxpayers, until December 31, 2021.

In a press release, the DGI informs “taxpayers that article 6 of the finance law for the year 2021 extended the benefits in favor of newly identified individuals, until December 31, 2021”.

Thus, natural persons exercising an activity liable to income tax who identify themselves for the first time with the tax administration, by registering for the professional tax roll, before this date, are only taxable on the basis of income acquired and operations carried out from the date of their identification, notes the same source.

Newly identified taxpayers also benefit from the other advantages provided for by common law, such as the five-year exemption from professional tax and the total exemption or reduced rate applicable in terms of income tax.
