The Director General of Public Finances of France, Jérôme Fournel, pays a visit to Morocco, on November 8 and 9, 2021, as part of the installation of a new fiscal attaché, competent for the whole of the Maghreb, and to maintain the deep and long-standing cooperation relations between Morocco and France.
During this visit, Jérôme Fournel, will have to meet the Treasurer General of the Kingdom, Mr. Noureddine Bensouda, for an exchange meeting, indicates a press release from the General Treasury of the Kingdom (TGR), noting that “this meeting testifies to the quality of the strategic cooperation between the TGR and the Directorate General of Public Finances of France (DGFIP) which has been strengthened over the past two years through institutional twinning ”.
During this meeting, the two officials will discuss the cooperation between the TGR and the DGFIP and future prospects for the consolidation and strengthening of this exceptional partnership.
The interview will be followed by a moment of exchange and sharing in the premises of the TGR, to which representatives of the Delegation of the European Union in Morocco and several partners from the Ministry of Economy and Finance and ‘other institutions.
