The Higher Council for Education, Training and Scientific Research (CSEFRS) sealed, on Wednesday in Rabat, four partnership agreements with ministerial departments, the Moroccan Foundation for the promotion of preschool education and the Agency against illiteracy (ANLCA), within the framework of the work of the second session of its general assembly.
A first framework partnership agreement was sealed between the CSEFRS and the Ministry of Habous and Islamic Affairs, the Ministry of National Education, Preschool and Sports, the Ministry of Economic Inclusion, Small Business, of Employment and Skills, the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation as well as the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication.
This agreement aims to determine the areas, conditions and methods of cooperation between the parties, within the framework of respect for their missions and attributions, with the aim of facilitating the exchange of information, documents, expertise and research on education and training issues.
The agreement also covers the implementation of framework law No. 51.17 relating to the system of education, training and scientific research and the recommendations of the general report of the New Development Model in the field of education and training.
In addition, a second cooperation framework agreement was signed between the Council and the Ministry of the Interior – the National Initiative for Human Development (INDH) – with the aim of defining a reference framework governing collaboration between the two parts.
The areas of cooperation concern in particular the carrying out of joint studies on issues falling within the areas of competence of both parties, the exchange of data, expertise, publications and resources, the carrying out of surveys and the organization of meetings and study days.
The Council also sealed a framework cooperation agreement with the ANLCA, to work together to fight against illiteracy and establish the concept of lifelong learning with a view to improving the quality of education programs. literacy and reduce the illiteracy rate to a level where it can be eradicated by 2029.
At the same time, a framework cooperation agreement was signed between the CSEFRS and the Moroccan Foundation for the promotion of preschool education, relating to the carrying out of studies in the field of primary education, the organization of events and conferences, the exchange of data and reports between the two parties and the organization of an international conference on primary education in 2024.
