The Court of Auditors and the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) concluded, on Thursday, a memorandum of understanding aimed at supervising and facilitating their cooperation in terms of the use by financial courts of the National Digital Identity System, developed by the DGSN.
The two parties indicate in a joint statement that this agreement, initialed by the first president of the Court of Auditors, Zineb El Adaoui and the Director General of National Security and Territorial Surveillance, Abdellatif Hammouchi, aims to set up a secure and reliable mechanism to verify and complete national identification data with a view to facilitating the work of financial courts and achieving the required efficiency in the implementation and communication of the procedures entrusted to them.
This institutional cooperation grants the financial courts the possibility of verifying and completing the data of persons subject to the law, so as to preserve the rule of law and its application, according to a secure mechanism that takes into account data protection standards. of a personal nature.
In order to ensure the sustainability of this cooperation and its proper implementation, this agreement provides for the establishment of a joint monitoring committee, made up of representatives of the signatory parties, responsible for ensuring the proper application of the provisions of this agreement. , the statement said.
