The course of the Atlas Lions soon on Netflix

Morocco, Brazil, Wales and Denmark have been chosen for a series on Netflix that will be available next summer. The captain of the Lions, Romain Saïss, should appear there.

Entitled “Captains”, the series will retrace the journey of several team captains during this World Cup in Qatar and the Atlas Lions are part of it.

Their exceptional career will be taken up in this series which will have a great story to tell, in particular how the least favorites in this world championship have managed to climb among the 4 best teams in the world.

Alongside Morocco, Wales captain Gareth Bale and Croatia captain Luka Modrić are expected to show their journey to qualification, one to illustrate his disappointing experience and the other for his qualification ambition.

Netflix relied on a partnership with streaming service Fifa+ to get footage from the competition in addition to interviews with family members of key characters like Thiago Silva with Brazil.

The captain of the Atlas Lions, Romain Saïss, will star in this series, according to the British daily The Telegraph. The production had access to all the filming areas in which Romain Saïss was present, and his exit on a stretcher during the match against Portugal will certainly be one of the highlights of this docuseries.

“The journey of Romain Saïss and the setbacks of Thiago Silva with Brazil were captured by the directors of the previous series + Sunderland ‘Till I Die +”, indicates the daily.
