The coordinator for Atlantic cooperation hails the King’s leadership

The American coordinator for Atlantic cooperation, Jessica Lapenn, hailed, on Tuesday in Rabat, the leadership of HM King Mohammed VI in the Atlantic zone.

Morocco plays a leading role in the Atlantic zone, under the leadership of HM King Mohammed VI, the American official told the press after talks with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and of Moroccans residing abroad, Nasser Bourita.

In this sense, she recalled the holding of the ministerial meeting of Atlantic African States, in June in Rabat.

“We are in Morocco for consultations in a desire to learn lessons from the Moroccan experience in terms of leadership in the Atlantic,” she added.

“We are working with Morocco to make the Atlantic a zone of opportunity and to come together as an Atlantic community, for the Atlantic,” added the American official.

She also called for collaboration between the Atlantic community, through consultations between the countries of the two shores of this area.
