The test positivity rate has gradually increased for the fourth consecutive week, from 0.6% to 5% last week, while the case reproduction index is now 1.19, he said. , calling on the population to resume wearing a mask in closed or high-traffic places.
According to the specialist, the new dangerous and critical cases admitted to the intensive care units have not experienced any significant or significant evolution, the number remaining low and not exceeding 20 new cases per week, i.e. less than 1 per 100,000 people. . Thus, in the past four weeks, 62 patients have been admitted to intensive care and intensive care, while 47 have been discharged from hospital after their state of health improved, he said.
Regarding deaths, the official observed that they are still stable at a low level, with a total of 10 deaths recorded in the past four weeks.
