After the three-day official visit to Morocco by IDF Chief of Staff Aviv Kochavi, it is the turn of the Israeli police chief Yaakov Shabtai to travel to the Kingdom where he is expected this Monday, August 1.
Accompanied by the head of the intelligence division and the head of the foreign relations unit, he is expected to make a five-day official visit during which he will meet with senior officials from the Moroccan police and the Moroccan Ministry of National Security and will visit a number of police and security installations. During his stay, the Israeli police chief will discuss with Moroccan officials the strengthening of operational, intelligence and investigative cooperation with the aim of strengthening relations between the police forces of the two countries.

Yaakov Shabtai should go to the Mohammed V Mausoleum in Rabat to also lay a wreath there. Also on the agenda of the head of the Israeli police, meeting with members of the Jewish community and visiting historic Jewish sites in the Kingdom.
