On Thursday, the Government Council approved draft decree n° 2.23.68 amending and supplementing decree n° 2.09.124 of 16 Dou Al-qiida 1431 (25 October 2010) setting the duration of training cycles at the Agronomic and Veterinary Institute (IAV) Hassan II as well as the corresponding diplomas.
This text follows the publication of Decree No. 2.09.124 mentioned above, which includes a series of provisions aimed at the organization and definition of the courses and training units at IAV Hassan II while fixing the duration of the years of training and the diplomas granted, but this decree had defined a book of educational standards intended for the engineering cycle only, omitting the cycles of veterinary doctor and specialized veterinary doctor, indicates a press release from the ministry delegated to the Head of Government in charge of relations with the Parliament, government spokesperson.
The new decree provides for the condition of a single preparatory year instead of two for access to the cycle of veterinary doctor, as well as a notebook of national educational standards intended for the cycle of veterinary doctor and another for the cycle of veterinary doctor specialized.
These two standards specifications define the sector, the units that make it up, its common core and the elements of the descriptive file, as well as the definition of the unit, its hourly volume and the elements of its descriptive file, while setting the conditions of access and study and evaluation systems.
