The Commission of the Fund for the production of cinematographic works unveiled the film projects admitted in advance on receipts for the second session of 2021.
A press release from the Moroccan Cinematographic Center (CCM) indicates that during this session, held from August 30 to September 3 and chaired by Ghita El Khaiat, the Commission examined for the advance on receipts after production of a feature film, from a documentary film to two short films.
It also reviewed 28 feature film projects, one documentary project, five short film projects and two scriptwriting contribution projects for the advance on pre-production receipts.
In the category of documentaries on Culture, History and the Sahrawi Hassani Space, the Commission examined 22 candidate projects in advance of receipts before production.
At the end of its deliberations, the Commission selected projects in the categories of fiction films and documentaries on Culture, History and the Sahrawi Hassani Space, it is indicated.
Thus in the fictional films category, an advance on receipt after production in the amount of two hundred and fifty thousand dirhams (250,000.00 DH) is granted to the documentary film entitled عام كورونا presented by the company BEST DRONE directed by Ahmed Bouchalgua, d ‘after the screenplay by Moulid Ezzahir.
An amount of two hundred and fifty thousand dirhams (250,000.00 DH) is granted to the short film entitled HIYA presented by the company YAZ’IMAGE directed by Khaoula Assebab.
An amount of two hundred thousand dirhams (200,000.00 DH) is granted to the short film entitled TRAHISON presented by the company PLUG-ON PRODUCTION directed by Salma Loukhmas, from her own screenplay.
Regarding the advance on receipts before production, an amount of five million five hundred thousand dirhams (5,500,000.00 DH) is granted to the feature film project entitled LE CHANT DE TOUDA presented by the company ALI N ‘PRODUCTIONS, which will be directed by Nabil Ayouch from his own screenplay.
An amount of four million five hundred thousand dirhams (4,500,000.00 DH) is granted to the feature film project entitled AFFAIRES DE FEMMES presented by the company LES FILMS 7, which will be directed by Mohamed Ahed Bensouda from the script by Abdelilah Hamdouchi.
An amount of one million dirhams (1,000,000.00 DH) is granted to the documentary project entitled LE NEGRIER DU SUD FACE A LA MEMOIRE DES MINORS MOROCAINS presented by the company ZKPROD DOC, which will be produced by Khalid Zairi after his own scenario.
Regarding the contribution to the script rewriting, an amount of one hundred thousand dirhams (100,000.00 DH) is granted to the feature film project entitled LA COSA MIGLIORE / THE BEST REWARD presented by the company JANAPROD and APAPAJA, which will be produced by Federico Ferrone, from the screenplay by Federico Ferrone and Giampiero Rigosi.
An amount of one hundred thousand dirhams (100,000.00 DH) is granted to the feature film project entitled THE WAR OF THE SIX MONTHS presented by the company HERACLES PRODUCTIONS which will be directed by Jillali Ferhati, from her own screenplay.
Regarding the contribution to script writing, an amount of fifty thousand dirhams (50,000.00 DH) is granted to the feature film project entitled JE SUIS MORT! presented by ARTS FILMS PRODUCTIONS, which will be directed by Aziz Salmy, from his own screenplay.
In the section relating to documentaries on Sahrawi Hassani culture, history and space, an advance on receipts before production in the amount of eight hundred thousand dirhams (800,000.00 DH) is granted to the documentary project entitled INDIGO / أنديگو presented by NETWORK FILM AGENCY, to be directed by Ali Oualdah, from the screenplay by Ali Salem Yara.
An amount of eight hundred thousand dirhams (800,000.00 DH) is granted to the documentary project entitled LA DAME DU SAHARA / سيدة الصحراء presented by the company PRIME-TIME.COM.PROD, which will be directed by Allah-Ister Abdelghafour, d ‘ after his own script.
An amount of eight hundred thousand dirhams (800,000.00 DH) is granted to the documentary project entitled LE DOCUMENT / الـــوثيـقـة presented by the company CITY PRODUCTION, which will be directed by Mohamed Raid El Meftahi, from the screenplay by Mahmoud Ait El Hadj and Jalal Belouad.
An amount of eight hundred thousand dirhams (800,000.00 DH) is granted to the documentary project entitled MEMOIRE D’UNE RADIO / ذاكرة إذاعة presented by the company PRESTIGE PICTURES, which will be directed by Lina Arious, from the screenplay by Mohamed El Imame Maalainine.
As for the contribution to the script rewriting, An amount of forty thousand dirhams (40,000.00 DH) is granted to the documentary project entitled سنابل على الرمال presented by the company DS PROD, which will be directed by Rachid Cheikh, d ‘after the screenplay by Jalal Belouadi.
An amount of forty thousand dirhams (40,000.00 DH) is granted to the documentary project entitled نساء الحصير presented by the company ATLANTIS FILMS, which will be directed by Moulay Khaled El Boumeshouli, from the screenplay by Aomar Mayara.
