The Casablanca Stock Exchange was rising on Wednesday in the first exchanges, its main index, Masi, gaining 0.09% to 13,180.61 points.
The MSI20, which reflects the price performance of the 20 most liquid companies, gained 0.04% to 1,079.26 points and the Madex, a compact index made up of stocks quoted on a continuous basis, rose 0.09% to 10,718.79 points . The benchmark Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) “Casablanca ESG 10”, meanwhile, rose 0.13% to 991.78 points.
On the value front, Med Paper soared 3.98%, ahead of Fennie Brossette (+ 3.97%), and Stokvis Africa (+ 3.29%).
On the downside, Delattre Levivier Maroc dropped 3.98%, Ciments Maroc lost 1.96% and Microdata at -087%.
Regarding the most active stocks, Sodep-Marsa Maroc drained 3.32 million dirhams (MDH) and Cosumar 1.4 MDH.
