The Casablanca Stock Exchange started the session in decline Tuesday, the index of all stocks, Masi, down 0.25%, to 13,318.77 points (pts).
The Morocco Stock Index (MSI 20), an index comprising the 20 most liquid stocks, lost ground by 0.36%, to 1,082.54 pts, and the Madex, a compact index made up of stocks quoted on a continuous basis, fell by 0.26%, at 10,784.07 pts.
The Casablanca ESG 10, a thematic index that calculates the price performance of socially responsible companies, fell 0.23% to 999.93 pts.
On the value side, Atlantasanad (-2.71% to 114.7 dirhams (DH)), Taqa Morocco (-2.41% to 1.093 DH) and Bank Of Africa (-1.78% to 185 DH) accused the steepest drops at the start of the day.
In contrast, BMCI, Stokvis North Africa and Alliances posted the largest increases, with respectively + 3.57% to 668 DH, + 2.55% to 21.7 DH and + 1.47% to 41.5 DH. .
The day before the closing, the Masi had recorded a slight increase of 0.08%, to 13.351.53 pts.
