The Casablanca Stock Exchange closed slightly higher on Tuesday, driven in particular by the good performance of the “Engineering and industrial capital goods”, “Electricity”, and “Electronic and electrical equipment” sectors.
Thus, the index of all stocks, Masi gained 0.11% to 13,160.56 points. The MSI20, for its part, rose 0.11% to 1,074.97 points and the Madex gained 0.10% to 10,683.01 points.
The benchmark Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) “Casablanca ESG 10” remained almost stable with an increase of 0.04% to 986.90 points. Internationally, the FTSE CSE Morocco 15 lost 0.18% to 12,461.08 points and the FTSE Morocco All-Liquid gained 0.08% to 11,174.86 points. On the sectoral level, 11 sectors finished in the green, led by the sector “Engineering and industrial equipment” which recorded the largest increase (+ 5.29%), boosted by its title “Stroc Industrie “.
The overall volume of securities trading amounted to MAD 74.873 million, while the market capitalization reached MAD 677.767 billion.
The largest decreases were recorded by Centrale Danone (-3.66%), Ennakl (-3.24%), Maroc Leasing (-3.09%), Alliances (-2.92%), Minière Touissit (- 2.41%).
The largest increases were achieved by Stroc Industries (5.99%), Fenie Brossette (5.99%), Taqa Morocco (5.04%), Delattre Levivier Maroc (4.14%), and Stokvis Nord Afrique ( 3.96%).
