The report includes a series of proposals and recommendations, including the organization of a new examination meeting the same criteria as that of the session of December 4, 2022.

Thus, the Coordination affirmed its full readiness to support the proposal submitted by the Institution of the Mediator of the Kingdom to the Chief Executive, Aziz Akhannouch, concerning the controversy surrounding the aptitude test.

In the special report submitted to the head of government, the Mediator of the Kingdom proposes that the results of the examination and the delivery of certificates of aptitude to successful candidates be announced at the beginning of next October. This would allow those who so wish to benefit, at the same time as their peers, from the provisions of article 11 of the law governing the legal profession, which concerns the application for registration on the list of trainee lawyers.

The institution also recommends that the Ministry of Justice put in place favorable conditions for a local service. This would allow candidates who cannot physically submit their application to do so electronically.

Among the Mediator’s recommendations are also the possibility of consulting exam papers for all candidates who request it, as well as the implementation of exceptional solutions for candidates who no longer meet the conditions required during the previous exam, such as as age or other criteria.

The report also proposes to surround the new examination with all the guarantees likely to reassure candidates, while taking into account the results of the new examination in future visions and management policies.
