The National Library of the Kingdom of Morocco (BNRM) will publish, after a four-year stop, the National Bibliography for the period from 2015 to 2020, which provides an exhaustive list of titles published in Morocco during this period.
A press release from the BNRM specifies that this Bibliography has nearly 2,605 titles of monographs for the year 2015, 2,689 titles for the year 2016, 2,908 titles for the year 2017, 3,095 titles for the year 2018, 3,282 titles for the year 2019 and 2,702 titles for the year 2020.
For the first time, alongside the monographs, this National Bibliography will include a number of periodicals as well as audiovisual documents, added the same source, noting that in addition to the six-volume paper edition of the National Bibliography, the researchers and readers can access its digital version by consulting the official website of the BNRM (www.bnrm.ma).
The press release also underlines that the BNRM will prepare, from this year, the National Bibliography on an annual basis and will proceed to its publication on a regular basis. It will also endeavor to present a detailed inventory of publishing in Morocco during the cultural and literary re-entry, in order to publicize, but also to arouse the desire to read what is published in Morocco.
As a reminder, the National Library is responsible for the production and editing of the National Bibliography, for the popularization of this particular form of heritage, and for the dissemination to the general public of all that concerns the works published in Morocco. .
