The Belgian Marc Wilmots has been appointed new coach of Raja de Casablanca, replacing the Tunisian Lassaad Chabbi, dismissed this week.
Former coach of Belgium, Côte d’Ivoire and Iran, Marc Wilmots, 52, was officially presented to the media on Thursday in Casablanca.
This is the third time that Wilmots will preside over the destinies of a club after his stints at FC Schalke and then with the Belgians of Sint-Truiden.
Former assistant to Georges Leekens then Dick Advocaat at the Red Devils, he took control of the Belgian national team in 2012.
