Responding to an oral question in the House of Representatives on the “accompanying measures for business promotion” presented by the Istiqlalien Group of Unity and Egalitarianism, Younes Sekkouri said that the government has mobilized an unprecedented budget for this purpose, adding that calls for expressions of interest, for companies wishing to employ, will be launched in the next two weeks.

In the same vein, he noted that an amount of 1,500 dirhams per month will be allocated, for a period of nine months, to companies for each employee recruited for at least one year under the program, in addition to the coverage of expenses of qualifying training to beneficiaries within the framework of training chosen by these companies, exemptions for companies created between 2015 and 2026 from income tax for salaries not exceeding 10,000 dirhams per month as well as exemption social security contributions.

The Minister also noted that checks for 10,000 dirhams will be issued, for the first time, to cover rental costs in favor of several companies operating in the informal sector, noting that these measures aim to lighten the burdens of small and medium-sized enterprises. (SME) wishing to recruit under the “Awrach 2” program and promote employment.

Younes Sekkouri further clarified that “the government will mobilize 3 billion dirhams over the next 3 years, in the form of checks for small, medium and large companies, with a view to encouraging them to employ hundreds of thousands of citizens”. .

It should be noted that the “Awrach 2” program, which comes after the positive results of the 1st edition launched in 2022, aims to create 250,000 direct jobs in 2 years, within the framework of small and large temporary projects.

The Awrach program is part of the government’s overall employment policy, which takes into consideration the different age categories and territorial specificities, through innovative programs aimed at improving employability and strengthening skills. opportunities for professional integration at the territorial level, without required skills, and this in partnership between ministerial departments, public establishments, local authorities, local authorities, as well as civil society associations and local cooperatives, in more private sector companies.
