The new Atlas Lions jerseys for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar have leaked on the web. Created by Puma, these new kits are already making a lot of noise on social networks.
Closely inspired by the 1998 World Cup jerseys, the Puma Morocco 2022 World Cup home jersey is predominantly red with a green stripe on the chest and a green V-neck.
However, this design, which resembles the one worn by the golden generation of 98, does not at all appeal to supporters, who regret a lack of creativity on the part of the German equipment manufacturer.

Puma really did NOT get bored for Morocco’s next jersey, we come out the same as that of 98 and that’s it

This is not the first time that the jerseys of the Moroccan selection have hit the bull’s eye. Before Puma, Morocco had chosen Adidas for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
The brand had created controversy by creating a bland and very uncreative first version of the jersey which led Moroccans to boycott the brand and which was criticized by many Moroccan footballers, including former Atlas Lion Abdeslam Ouaddou. The president of the FRMF, Fouzi Lakjaa had also threatened to break the contract which bound him to Adidas if the version were to see the light of day.
After delays and unconvincing excuses, the Real Madrid sponsor presented this second version which also didn’t convince. According to some comments, the jersey resembles a discounted Adidas jersey, a copy of Wydad’s.
For now, it is only a model that has been shown on social networks. The official presentation will take place before the 2022 World Cup in Qatar which will take place in November.
As a reminder, Morocco is housed in group F with Belgium, Croatia and Canada. Morocco will face in its first match Croatia, vice-world champion in title (Russia-2018), before playing against Belgium then Canada, during the Football World Cup organized in Qatar from November 21 to November 18. December 2022.
