The draw for the Arab Futsal Cup, conducted in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Thursday, placed the title-holders Atlas Lions in Group A along with Kuwait, Mauritania and Somalia.
The 2022 edition of the Arab Futsal Cup, scheduled in Saudi Arabia from June 19 to 29 under the aegis of the Arab Union of Football Association (UAFA), will see the participation of ten teams, announced Thursday the UAFA.
Group B consists of Egypt, Iraq and Algeria, while Saudi Arabia, Palestine and Libya form Group C.
The Arab Cup will start with a first round. The top three teams from Group A, the top two teams from Groups B and C and the third-best team from Pools B and C will qualify for the second round.
The quarter-final and semi-final matches will be played with a knockout system, until the closing match.
