The Atlas Lions, accompanied by their coach, Walid Regragui visited, Friday, June 9, the International Publishing and Book Fair (SIEL) in its 28th edition. The Moroccan-Canadian comedian, Gad El Maleh, was also on site and toured the various pavilions with the players.
A few days before the friendly match between Morocco and Cape Verde, the players of the Moroccan national football team, as well as the famous Walid Regragui, took advantage of their presence in Rabat to visit and discover the International Publishing Fair and the Book which continues until Sunday, June 11.
This visit also took place in the presence of the Minister of Youth, Culture and Communication, Mohammed Mehdi Bensaid, and of course the President of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF), Fouzi Lekjaa, but also comedian Gad El Maleh who accompanied the team on their tour.
Achraf Dari, Abderrazak Hamdallah, Abdelhamid Sabiri, Jawad Yamiq, Tarik Tissoudali and Sofiane Boufal were all present during this activity.
In addition, the Atlas Lions, their coach and Gad El Maleh took the opportunity to participate in a colloquium organized by the Council of the Moroccan Community Abroad (CCME), in cooperation with the Royal Moroccan Football Federation ( FRMF), presenting the encyclopedia of Moroccan footballers in the world, with the aim of a scientific understanding of the role of Moroccans in the world in maintaining the influence of Moroccan football.
According to Abdellah Boussouf, Secretary General of the CCME, the visit of the Moroccan national team to the International Book Fair was an opportunity to present the study carried out by the Council in cooperation with the Federation. This study covers about 689 Moroccan players around the world in more than 400 clubs and more than 400 cities.
And without a doubt, the visitors present this Friday at SIEL were more than happy to meet the stars of the historical epic which will remain etched in the memory of all Moroccans.
